Vulnerability Dashboard - SAP & KPMG hackathon

Web prototype that ranks vulnerability scan findings using exploitability, threat intelligence, and asset context.

After shutting down heyPermit, I spent a few months exploring cybersecurity - another field I like to tinker with. I teamed up with my friend, a cybersecurity expert, for a two-day hackathon run by SAP and KPMG. We focused on vulnerability triage: helping security teams decide what to fix first. We built an AI-assisted prototype that imports Nessus and OpenVAS reports, enriches them with EPSS, CISA KEV, and public exploit data, then ranks findings by exploitability, asset criticality, and business impact. The dashboard aggregates the most urgent issues and explains each score and recommended action. We did not win, but the feedback was encouraging. I also came away with a much better understanding of how security teams turn a flood of scanner findings into a practical remediation plan.
